Life is about being involved and getting involved.
On this
page you'll have the chance for both.
One Laptop Per Child
(OLPC)
OLPC was founded by Nicholas Negroponte
with a core of Media Lab veterans, but quickly expanded to include a wide range
of exceptionally talented and dedicated people from academia, industry, the
arts, business, and the open-source community. Each individual involved brings a
unique skill set, and a deep personal passion, to the project.

Human Rights First
is leading the way for peace in Darfur
It is the citizens of the world who must insist this
nightmare ends, and world leaders that must end it. We are maintaining a strong
line on pressuring the U.S. and other world leaders to advance the fragile peace
process.
Help Human Rights do what they do best: dig out the
truth, speak it aloud, develop solutions, and see them made real. They need
many voices - including yours - and need financial support. Help them prepare for a new year of hope and progress for the world.
